La Candelaria has played an important role in the cultural agenda of Lima, promoting the folkloric genre since 2000.

Since then, every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the year, La Candelaria offers a first-class show, featuring the most representative dances from various regions of Peru, accompanied by a live orchestra, thus providing a cultural, fun, and unforgettable space where learning and appreciation for Peruvian culture emerge for both locals and tourists.

With 16 dancers on stage and 5 musicians (optional), La Candelaria offers an insight into Peru's rich and diverse traditions, giving the audience a glimpse into every day life in such a diverse country.
